The Georgia Case Against Trump Was Rigged by the White House

If the matter were not so serious, it would almost be amusing to watch the collapse of the Georgia election interference case against Donald Trump and 19 alleged co-conspirators.

The charges were brought under Georgia state law by Fulton Country DA Fani Willis. Legal scholars considered the charges a stretch from the start, but the case has now gone completely off the rails. Fani Willis hired Nathan Wade to act as the lead prosecutor despite the fact that Wade had no experience in large-scale complex white-collar criminal cases.

Willis and Wade were secret lovers. She paid Wade almost $750,000 in legal fees, which were used in part to pay for exotic vacations by the pair to Caribbean islands and other attractive destinations. Some of the funds were used to buy expensive sports sedans and other luxury goods.

An ethics violations motion by the Trump team was heard and Willis was ordered to throw Wade off the case. Another appeal is pending, which would disqualify Willis herself from the case on a variety of ethics and disclosure violations.

All of this has delayed the actual trial, which will not be heard until 2025 at the earliest. It is also possible that the case itself will be dismissed due to prosecutorial misconduct.

Behind this three-ring circus in Georgia is a serious legal and political question. Was the entire case cooked up in the White House to derail Trump’s presidential campaign? Were Willis and Wade just flunkies for the top legal brains in the White House who would do anything to stop Trump? Now, we have an answer.

Wade did meet multiple times with Biden’s White House staff in 2022 and 2023 before the Georgia case was filed. Billing records and other receipts show Wade met with officials in the White House and the corrupt Jan. 6 committee on many occasions, covering scores of hours in preparation for the prosecution of Trump.

Strangely, Wade’s testimony on these matters includes a number of outright lies (mostly about his relationship with Willis), an inability to recall names or specifics of the people he met with and a denial that the Trump case was discussed in any depth. Why else was Wade in Washington so much if not to discuss the case?

The more misconduct that is revealed, the more likely it is that the entire case will be dismissed. Let’s hope that there’s still some justice left in the world.
