Not Only Is Trump Being Tried Criminally, Now They Want to Shut Him Up

You all know about the obsessive, even demented, persecution of Donald Trump since he announced he was running for president in 2015. First came the Russia collusion hoax and the Steele dossier (a fraud paid for by Hillary Clinton).

Then came the Mueller Report, which dominated headlines for two years but, in the end, exonerated Trump (in the public hearings, Robert Mueller seemed in a fog and couldn’t even remember key witnesses and evidence).

Then came Nancy Pelosi’s two impeachment of Trump that more closely resembled a three-ring circus than a sober-minded inquiry.

Trump was acquitted in Senate trials both times. But the Democrats never gave up.

They are using what’s called “lawfare” (legal process to wage war on political opponents) to destroy Trump’s efforts to run for president again. Right now, Trump is facing almost 100 criminal felony charges under four indictments (two federal, two state) at the same time.

The timing of the indictments was orchestrated so that the trials would occur in the spring of 2024 at exactly the same time that Trump should be busy with his campaign. No coincidence there. And the jurisdictions were hand-picked to provide overwhelmingly black and Democratic juries so that Trump is highly likely to be convicted of something. Again, no coincidence.

Can it get any worse for Trump? Where Democrat lawfare is concerned, nothing is out-of-bounds.

As reported in this article, the special counsel who is conducting the January 6 prosecution in Washington DC has asked the judge for a gag order on Trump that would prevent him from speaking out about the false charges and his likely defenses.

Putting a gag order on Trump is like ordering the ocean tides to stop in their tracks – it won’t work. But that’s part of the idea. If Trump follows the gag order (he won’t), you shut down his campaign. If Trump doesn’t follow the gag order, you can charge him with contempt of court – another felony!

Trump may actually be elected president in November 2024 while sitting behind bars in a Fulton County, GA jail cell wearing an orange prison uniform. That’s OK. There is no legal or Constitutional prohibition on electing a convicted felon as president.

And once Trump is sworn in as president in January 2025 (maybe from behind bars), he’ll be able to pardon himself and his associates and the use the full force of the law to go after those who orchestrated the bogus prosecutions, the Russian hoax, and much more. Investors should put on their crash helmets and prepare for more volatility than markets have seen since the Civil War.
