NATO’s Preparing For Trump By Trying To “Trump Proof” The Ukraine War
Russia is winning the War in Ukraine decisively. After winning the battle of Avdiivka, Russia rolled west and captured the towns of Tonen’ke, Orlivka, and Berdychi.
Ukrainian casualties were estimated at 30,000 in the month of March and 100,000 since the start of the year. Those are comparable to the bloodiest battles in U.S. history including Iwo Jima, Okinawa, D-Day, and Antietam.
Every “wonder weapon” provided to Ukraine has failed completely. These weapons include HIMARS precision-guided artillery, Patriot anti-missile batteries, Storm Shadow cruise missiles, Leopard tanks, Challenger tanks, Abrams tanks and Bradley fighting vehicles. They have all been destroyed by Russian hypersonic missiles, Russian land mines, drones, artillery or helicopters, or they have been electronically jammed by Russian technology.
The Russian Zircon hypersonic cruise missile and the Kinzhal hypersonic ballistic missile cannot be stopped by U.S. anti-missile batteries. Instead of suing for peace, NATO, the U.S. and Ukraine are dreaming up new ways to keep the war going. They are afraid that Trump will win the election next November and try to stop the war.
As a response, NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg is trying to “Trump proof” the war. He’s planning a $100 billion, five-year war fund to keep giving support to Ukraine even if Trump wins. He’s also planning to move critical weapons supplies from U.S. control to NATO control so NATO can keep supplying the weapons to Ukraine in a Trump administration.
Ukraine has suffered about 500,000 dead since the war began over two years ago. I guess Stoltenberg wants even more blood on his hands and so do others.
Trump should announce today that if he wins (which appears likely), he will immediately withdraw from NATO unless these permanent war measures are stopped in their tracks. That might be what it takes to prevent the war and the slaughter from going on for years to come.
