Looks Like the Green New Scam Is Over. Even Bill Gates Is Backing Away.

The green new scammers have had a long run. They’ve been warning that the planet will be destroyed in ten years for the last forty years, which means they have been wrong all along, and they’re still wrong today.

Their predictions of global warming or “climate change” are based on models that are badly flawed. The models are so bad they can’t even backtest correctly. If you take known data from ten years ago and plug it into the models, the model will generate a forecast that bears no relation to what actually happened.

If you can’t back-test correctly, how can you forecast correctly? You can’t.

Hurricanes are not more frequent today, they’re less frequent. The peak decade for hurricanes was the 1930s, and they’ve been declining in frequency ever since. Wildfires always happen, but they are not more frequent than in years past. Tornado intensity has diminished in recent years.

All of these trends could reverse in the future, but that’s normal climate variation. It has nothing to do with what the climate cult claims.

There’s no evidence that human-caused CO₂ emissions have had a discernable impact on climate. Water levels have been rising at a slow pace (about 7 inches per 100 years), but that pace has been observed since the 19^th century, long before automobiles and industrial CO₂ output rose. The Statute of Liberty is still high and dry.

Recently, a simple statement that there is no climate crisis attracted over 1,600 signatories from among top scientists in the fields of meteorology, climatology, physics, applied mathematics and other relevant specialties. Two Nobel Prize winners were among the signatories.

Despite all this evidence, the greenies have done enormous damage. They’ve promoted electric vehicles (which were invented in the 1830s and failed to catch on repeatedly in the 1910s through the 1950s except for golf carts). They’re killing whales by using sonic shock waves to build offshore windmills. They’re mining poisonous chemicals like cobalt, lithium, nickel and rare earths to build batteries for solar farms that don’t work at night or in bad weather.

These failures have wasted tens of billions of taxpayer dollars. Now, according to this article, perhaps the tide has turned.

Bill Gates, a noted anti-humanist who believes the earth would be better off with 5 billion fewer people and who promoted dangerous mRNA vaccines, has been one of the leading climate alarmists. He now says there’s not really a climate “crisis” that requires immediate action and that running a business on that basis is destructive.

Gates has never minded deceptive statements to advance his pet causes in the past. The fact that he is backing away from climate extremism might actually mean that the scam is over.
