Here’s A Pathetic Example of How Arrogant the Climate Cult Is

The problem with joining a cult is that once you leave reason behind and subscribe to cult rituals, there’s no limit to the crazy ideas and acts that might arise. That’s a good rule to bear in mind when considering the climate cult.

Adherents believe that the earth is warming due to CO₂ emissions from automobiles and energy sources that run on diesel, coal or natural gas. Every element of that creed is false.

The earth has gone through many warming and cooling periods going back millennia none of which had anything to do with automobiles (which weren’t invented until the 1880s) or with electricity generation (which was not industrialized until the 1890s).

There was the Roman Warm Period (about 200 BC) that may have aided Hannibal’s invasion of present-day Italy. There was the Medieval War Period (around 1000 AD) than enabled the Vikings to have farms in Greenland and sail as far west as the St. Lawrence River in present-day Quebec. Then there was the Little Ice Age (about 1400 to 1850 AD) during which the Thames River was so frozen that commercial “Frost Fairs” were held on the ice and bridges were not needed because travelers could simply cross the frozen river on foot.

So, climate change is real, but it’s caused by solar cycles, volcanoes, ocean currents and water vapor (aka clouds). There may have been a slight warming trend from around 1985 to 2005, but it was mild and now seems to be moving in reverse (also typical of climate trends).

Far from being caused by CO₂, it seems the opposite is true – that warming releases CO₂ not that CO₂ causes warming. So, the climate nuts have cause and effect exactly backwards.

None of that matters to the cultists. They don’t believe in real science. They prefer their flawed models and political agenda and the observe no limits on the crazy ideas they want to force on the rest of us including electric vehicles (with puny range), windmills (that kill whales and fall apart quickly), solar modules (made with poisonous chemicals) and lithium batteries (requiring more poisonous chemicals and energy-intensive mining).

Can it get any crazier? Yes.

Here’s an article about “geoengineering.” That’s a fancy name for projects that actually try to change the climate for no good reason such as using balloons to spread sulfite particles in the atmosphere to deflect sunlight. So, now we have a non-problem (climate change) being addressed with unnecessary and untested solution (spreading sulfur to block the sun) proposed by egghead Professors who don’t even understand the models they claim to rely on.

This dangerous behavior is not what one would expect from real scientists. It’s exactly what one does expect from members of the climate cult.
