Government Corruption During The Pandemic Was Worse Than We Knew.

The entire course of the coronavirus pandemic from late 2019 to 2022 was one long case study in government incompetence and corruption.

The U.S. government helped to start the pandemic by funding gain-of-function research on bat coronaviruses at the Chinese Wuhan Institute of Virology. Then, the virus escaped the laboratory.

Anthony Fauci and his henchmen at the U.S. Centers for Disease Control (CDC) lied about their involvement with that research and stood in the way of an unbiased investigation claiming that the virus came from a wet market. There is no evidence for the wet market theory; the genetic markers of the SARS-CoV-2 all indicate that it was engineered in the lab.

The so-called vaccines are really experimental genetic modification treatments; they don’t prevent infection and don’t prevent the spread of the disease. Reports of dangerous and fatal side effects of those experimental injections are beginning to pile up, including numerous heart attacks among otherwise healthy athletes in their 20s and 30s.

Masks are useless in stopping the spread of the virus, but they do result in lethargy and impaired cognition because the mask wearer is breathing recirculated CO₂ from their own lungs. The combination of masks and social distancing plus school closings and other extreme measures have taken an enormous toll in terms of lost educational skills, increased depression and anxiety, and much higher rates of suicide, alcoholism, and drug addiction.

That’s all without even mentioning the multi-trillion-dollar costs of shutting down the economy in the spring of 2020, also for no good reason. Can this litany of public policy failure get any worse? Actually, yes.

According to this article, we now learn that Anthony Fauci and his colleagues at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) received over $350 million in royalty payments from major pharmaceutical companies and other firms between 2010 and 2020. Many of those royalties (and more since) are related to the research done in connection with the SARS-CoV-2 virus, either in the gain-of-function stage or the vaccine production stage.

This is an unconscionable conflict of interest as Fauci was collecting royalties for a pandemic treatment when he helped to create the pandemic. Given this level of corruption, it’s no surprise that the public policy response also led by Fauci was full of lies and cover-ups.

The victims of this pandemic go far beyond those who suffered from the disease. The victims include every American who had to deal with mask mandates, vaccine mandates, business shutdowns, and more.

The next time there’s a pandemic, the best advice is to ignore the CDC and NIH and just rely on common sense and your local physician. The U.S. national health establishment has totally lost our respect and does not deserve to get it back soon.
