Even Alexa Has Been Programmed to Support Kamala

I don’t use Alexa personally. (I once received one ordered by accident and I smashed it with a sledgehammer to make sure it was dead). But I know many who do and have been in households that actively use it.

Most users seem to enjoy having Alexa do routine chores. “Alexa, turn on the outdoor lights.” Or “Alexa, announce upstairs that dinner is being served,” seem like innocent and useful applications. Of course, we’ve written about the dark side of Alexa in the past.

Alexa doesn’t just speak; it listens. It’s a kind of eavesdropping tool. It doesn’t operate in a vacuum; it digitally transmits your conversations to Amazon central. It can interpret what you say and decide if you are some kind of threat or enemy of the Biden-Harris regime.

Alexa units in a neighborhood can communicate with each other and single out one neighbor for unapproved behavior. That’s all bad enough. But here’s the latest:

One women asked Alexa, “Why should I vote for Trump?” The device replied, “I cannot provide content that promotes a specific political party or a specific candidate.” OK. Then she asked Alexa, “Why should I vote for Harris?” Alexa gave a long answer explaining that Harris is a “strong candidate, with a proven track record of accomplishments.” It also refers to the fact that Harris “has already broken down a major gender barrier” and continued to list other supposed Harris accomplishments.

Hmmm. When Trump is the subject, Alexa “cannot provide content” but when Harris is the subject, Alexa composes a manifesto.

Fortunately, the interlocutor made a video of this biased encounter, which went viral. Upon being exposed, Amazon called this performance “an error that was quickly fixed.” That’s a lie.

Automated apps like Alexa don’t make errors – they do what they are programmed to do. There is no Alexa in the anthropomorphic sense; it’s all just math and programming. Clearly, Alexa was programmed to dismiss Trump and promote Kamala Harris. It’s just one more form of election interference by Big Tech.

It also shows how much Big Tech and Silicon Valley must be afraid of Trump if they program one of their most successful consumer applications to promote the Kamala Harris campaign. Alexa may be fine for turning on the lights but don’t trust it for expert advice. Better yet, buy a sledgehammer and put it to good use.
