Democracy in Ukraine Is a Fraud

Why has the U.S. sent over $100 billion to Ukraine, with more on the way, plus Patriot missile batteries, Abrams tanks, Bradley Fighting Vehicles, HIMARS precision-guided artillery, Stinger anti-tank missiles, and much more besides?

According to the warmongers like Joe Biden, Victoria Nuland, Antony Blinken, Jake Sullivan, Mitch McConnell and Lindsey Graham, we have to defend democracy!

Ukraine is a democratic republic being attacked by the brutal dictatorship of Vladimir Putin. We have to stand up for democracy in Ukraine. If not, the Russian despots will soon be on the shores of New Jersey (or at least the English Channel).

The problem is that every bit of that narrative is a lie. Ukraine is not a democracy. As reported here, Ukraine’s President Zelensky has cancelled elections and offered no date when they might take place. The real power in Ukraine is a clique of neo-Nazis called Banderites named after the World War II Ukrainian Nazi leader Stepan Bandera.

Zelensky’s actions have not stopped at ending elections. He has also arrested priests of the Orthodox Church and shut down their cathedrals and services because of their affiliation with the Patriarch of Moscow. For the record, Ukraine has long been ranked as the most corrupt country in Europe and one of the most corrupt in the world.

As for those weapons, Russia destroyed the Patriot missile batteries with hypersonic missiles that the West does not have. Russians have destroyed NATO tanks (the UK Challenger and German Leopard 2) and left them burning on the battlefield. Russia has neutralized the HIMARS artillery by jamming its GPS system so the shells land randomly and do no damage to Russian targets.

Over half of Ukraine’s Bradley Fighting Vehicles have been destroyed on the battlefield and the rest have been held back because they’ll be destroyed too. The same is true for Abrams tanks. Some have been delivered but the U.S. has asked Ukraine to keep them out of combat to avoid photos of the U.S. tanks burning on the battlefield.

So, there’s your Ukrainian ally – cancelled elections, church suppression, failed weapons, failed counteroffensive, and complete corruption.

Worth $100 billion? Worth fighting for? Increasingly Americans are saying no to both questions. Good riddance to Ukraine and its neo-Nazi sympathizers.
