Climate Alarmism Is Such a Fraud Even the White House Now Admits It

We’ve written extensively about the green new scam and the hysterical climate alarmism propagated by elites around the world. Science (and by that, I mean real science, not THE SCIENCE touted by climate alarmists) shows that the dominant forces affecting climate are sun cycles, volcanos, ocean currents including subduction of warmer high salinity currents under colder less saline currents, and current-driven phenomena such as El Niño and La Niña.

While CO₂ does have some heat retention properties, it’s a trace gas that has no clear impact on climate. It is plant food, and is essential to agriculture and the human food supply. Climate does change, but for reasons that have nothing to do with human activity and CO₂.

In the tenth century, the Vikings grew crops in Greenland in areas today covered in ice. In the seventeenth century, the Thames River was frozen solid, and Londoners could walk from the north bank to the south bank on the ice. I lived for ten years on Long Island Sound, which has a rocky coast because it was a glacier in the last Ice Age and the rocks are left over from the moraine formed by the glacier. That was 10,000 years ago.

None of those scientifically documented events had anything to do with CO₂ emissions, automobiles or the Industrial Revolution. It’s real climate change, it’s natural, and it has happened for millennia.

In contrast, climate hysteria is a Trojan horse for global elites to advance an agenda of global taxation, global regulation, and global money. It’s also a vehicle for trillion-dollar wealth transfers from North to South.

The elites are in it for the money. Pushing the alarmist agenda has been one of the top priorities of the White House and the Biden administration. So, you can imagine my surprise when I read this article by climate expert Steven Koonin.

He was a top climate official in the Obama administration and the author of one of the best books on climate change: “Unsettled: What Climate Science Tell Us, What it Doesn’t, and Why it Matters.” Koonin is a true expert and is honest about the facts that there is no existential climate crisis looming, and the role of CO₂ emissions is unclear and possibly irrelevant.

Koonin points to a new White House report that says the economic impact of so-called greenhouse gases is almost zero. There’s much more in the report that mitigates the impact of climate change.

It’s a shock to see honest reporting on the impact of climate coming out of the White House. Too bad that honest assessment is not more common. It certainly does not reach the Oval Office. Still, the article and the report are well worth your time and consideration.
