Biden Turned Tail in Afghanistan. Ukraine Is Next for A Double-Cross

We all remember the debacle of the U.S. retreat from Afghanistan in August 2021 under the cowardly leadership of Joe Biden. The issue at the time was not whether the U.S. should withdraw or not. Most Americans favored some kind of withdrawal.

The U.S. and allies had been fighting there since 2001. After 20 years of fighting and the death of Osama Bin Laden (in Pakistan), it was fair to say that we had done all we could do. Unless the U.S. wanted to serve as a permanent police force, it was time to go.

The issue was how that could be done with the greatest chance of preserving our improvements, keeping our bases and equipment, and minimizing casualties. Biden failed on all three counts. Trump had negotiated a ceasefire with the Taliban in 2020 and it was holding in 2021. This gave Biden time to organize a phased withdrawal, keep a small force in Bagram Air Base (near Kabul), and avoid casualties.

Instead, Biden made a snap decision, completely abandoned the air base and left behind tens of billions of dollars of state-of-the-art weapons including armored personnel carriers, night vision gear, stinger missiles, and much more.

Worst of all, 13 American service personnel were killed by a terrorist bomb detonated amid the chaos of the rushed withdrawal. That attack had been predicted and could have been prevented with the right leadership. The Pentagon then killed an innocent family of seven with a cruise missile in the mistaken belief that there were connected with the terrorists.

The Biden chaos was not a withdrawal; it was a surrender and a deadly humiliation. Guess what? Biden is at it again. This time the victim will not be Afghanistan; it will be Ukraine.

The War in Ukraine never should have happened, and it could have been ended over a year ago. It began because warmongers in the White House and State Department provoked Putin and it continued because the same warmongers had delusions that Russia could be drained of resources and Putin could be overthrown.

Instead, Russia is stronger than ever, Ukrainian troops are being annihilated, and U.S. weapons reserves have been depleted.

Joe Biden is facing an election next year. He knows the worse the war gets, the worse it is for his campaign. Biden has now delivered a message to Ukraine that it will not be joining NATO until the war ends.

The problem is that the war won’t end without a Russian victory. That means Ukraine will never join NATO. It also means Ukraine will be left as a landlocked rump state around Kyiv with Russia controlling the entire coastline of the Sea of Azov and the Black Sea as well as Crimea. Poland may annex parts of western Ukraine around L’viv for good measure.

This is another betrayal and stab-in-the-back by Biden. It should come as no surprise; he did the same thing in Afghanistan. It’s his specialty.
