Are Biden Officials Dumb Or Just Totally Inexperienced?

When binary outcomes are presented to decision-makers, stupid people should be right about half the time. That’s how often a trained chimpanzee would be right if you let it choose heads or tails. The chimp would have no idea what the probabilities or degree distributions were, but it would be right about half the time based on random outcomes.

Stupid people who had no idea what they were doing would be right about the same percentage of the time. Yet, that’s not how the Biden administration has functioned.

The Biden White House and its officials have been wrong 100% of the time. They botched the Afghanistan withdrawal in August 2021, and 13 U.S. military were killed by a terrorist. To avenge the terrorist murder, the Pentagon fired a drone missile at a carload of Afghans and killed a family of 10 with 7 children – no terrorists were in the car.

Biden has delivered the highest inflation in over 40 years. The U.S. economy is technically in a recession today based on the latest estimates. Interest rates are soaring.

The U.S. is losing the war on the ground in Ukraine by supporting the Ukrainian Armed Forces and is losing the financial sanctions war with Russia. The supply chain is busted, baby formula cannot be found, and food prices are through the roof.

All of this is set to get much worse before it gets better. Stupidity cannot explain all of this. It takes some skill and determination to be wrong 100% of the time.

It turns out that’s the case.

This article reports that 62% of Biden’s officials have zero years of business experience. Only 12% of the officials have more than minimal business experience.

Who are these people? Basically, they have reasonably high IQs, went to top schools, but have spent all or almost all of their careers as bureaucrats or elected officials. They are ultimate swamp creatures.

They have also been ideologically indoctrinated by the supposedly elite schools and by their peers. They spend all of their time cooking up ideologically correct but practically ridiculous “solutions” like the Green New Deal, open borders, defunding police, and intentionally raising gasoline prices to make electric vehicles seem attractive (even though electric vehicles are fueled with electricity coming from coal-fired power plants).

We should actually wish for stupid officials because they’d be right half the time. The brainwashed ideologues we have are wrong all the time because nothing in their background or training prepares them for the real world of constraints, budgets, and what everyday Americans feel.

The sooner this crew is swept from office, the better. Let’s hope they don’t do too much damage before that happens.
