Another One Bites the Dust: Trump Case Is Dismissed.

They’re falling like dominos!

I’m referring to the lawfare attack on Trump in the form of criminal and civil cases designed to bankrupt him, humiliate him and put him behind bars. The Democrats have nothing to offer the voters, so putting Trump on trial and trying to shut him up is all they have going.

Here’s a quick recap of the cases: New York Attorney General Letitia James sued Trump on a petty property valuation disagreement on a loan application (where the bank said they didn’t care, and Trump repaid the loan with interest) and got a $550 million judgment, thanks to a smarmy judge who ignored the law.

New York DA Alvin Bragg tried Trump on charges so convoluted that even liberal legal scholars couldn’t figure out what the crime was and got convictions on 34 felonies that could result in Trump going to jail for 136 years. That was the “hush money” case.

Then U.S. special prosecutor Jack Smith filed two criminal cases against Trump. There was a Washington DC case alleging election interference on January 6, 2021, and a classified documents case in Palm Beach, Florida. The icing on the cake was the incompetent Fulton County DA Fani Willis, who is prosecuting Trump and co-defendants in Georgia on state election interference charges.

Guess what? Every one of these cases is failing or has hit a wall.

The Georgia case is on hold at least until next December, pending a hearing on misconduct by Fani Willis who hired her inexperienced lover as a prosecutor and took luxury trips with his legal fees paid by taxpayers. The hush money case is likely to be overturned based on a new Supreme Court ruling (Trump v. United States) that gives presidents complete immunity from crimes committed while performing official duties. Since Trump signed the alleged hush money check while president, the new ruling could give him immunity.

The classified documents case was just dismissed by District Court Judge Aileen Cannon on grounds that Jack Smith was illegally appointed because he held no office appointed by the president and approved by Congress. The Washington DC Jack Smith case is likely to be dismissed on the same grounds or, if not, appealed to the Supreme Court, which will take until next year.

Even the real estate valuation case in New York is likely to be reversed or at least have the damages substantially reduced. All of this comes against a background in which Trump is leading in all of the key polls and Biden was thrown under the bus by Democrats.

Hopefully the progressive lawfare warriors have learned that when you abuse the law and stretch it too far, it can turn around and bite you.
