Intel Community Corruption Is the Worst Ever. Here’s The Proof.

In addition to notable successes, the U.S. intelligence community (IC) has had many analytic failures including the failure to see the Russian invasion of Afghanistan (1979), failure to detect the 9/11 attack (2001), and wrong assessments of Iraq’s weapons of mass destruction (2001-2003).

IC successes (many unknown) included finding Osama bin Laden (killed by Navy SEALs, 2010) and locating terrorist leaders such as Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi (the ISIS Caliph, 2019), Qasem Soleimani (Iranian Commander, 2020), and Ayman al-Zawahiri (Al Qaeda leader, 2022), all of whom were killed by CIA drone or missile attacks. Despite some political overtones, none of these analyses or special operations rises to the level of politicization in the CIA today. The differences are profound.

The first difference is that today’s politicization is aimed at domestic enemies of the White House rather than foreign enemies. The second difference is the use of the CIA by the president to act against the best interests of the U.S. in pursuit of an anti-U.S. agenda.

In this upside-down world, covert and clandestine operations are used not to hide the truth from enemies, but to hide the truth from the American people themselves. The most egregious example is President Obama’s use of the CIA to squash information on Iran’s nuclear enrichment efforts and plans to build nuclear weapons.

A friendly foreign intelligence service actually received top secret technical data on Iran’s efforts from a defector inside the Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. This information was from a true golden source. Instead of receiving the information and sharing it with allies, the CIA told the intermediary that they would not receive the dossier and had orders not to pursue the information.

This is the opposite of what an intelligence service is supposed to do and is a reflection of Obama’s pro-Iran and pro-Muslim tilt. The full story is available here. (Note: reviewing the full article may need a subscription).

Of course, all of this was just a prelude to the complete political corruption of the CIA under Director John Brennan. I worked under CIA directors: Tenet, Goss, Hayden, Panetta and Petraeus but was fortunate to end my service just as Brennan was coming in.

Brennan was responsible for shopping Hillary Clinton’s fake dossier on Donald Trump around Washington and getting the FBI to launch operation Crossfire Hurricane that spied on Trump and paralyzed his administration from 2017 to 2019 with false accusations of Russian “collusion.”

Today the CIA is a failed organization that spends enormous resources hunting down Trump supporters and propping up neo-Nazis in Ukraine rather than protecting U.S. national security.
