Warmongers Biden And Blinken Sending Bombs That Kill Children to Ukraine

The fact that Ukraine is losing the war against Russia is no longer in dispute. Russia has a solid hold on the four Ukrainian provinces (called oblasts) of Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson. There are battle lines in these provinces and some small areas are still in Ukrainian hands, but control is in Russian hands and a land bridge has been created between Russian territory near Rostov-on-Don and the Russian area of Crimea.

Ukraine recently launched a long-planned counteroffensive to retake these territories, drive to the Sea of Azov, and break the land bridge. This offensive was destroyed before it began.

Russian mines, artillery and air attacks demolished Ukrainian tanks, armored personnel carriers and mobile artillery as well as inflicting heavy casualties in early June. Since then, the Ukrainians have been reduced to pinpoint attacks in tiny villages, but no substantial gains have been made.

Originally, the U.S./NATO plan was to use Ukrainians as proxy fighters to wear down the Russian Army and drain its economy. The opposite has happened.

Russia has put its economy on a war footing, is producing hundreds of thousands of artillery shells and importing weapons it does not manufacture. Meanwhile, the U.S. has drained its arsenals and is almost out of critical weapons including 155mm shells, stinger missiles, along with being dangerously low on HIMARS artillery, armor, and Patriot anti-missiles.

The U.S. has not been able to mobilize its economy and has discovered it will take years to begin replacing the lost weapons. The situation is now so desperate for the U.S. side that President Biden has authorized supplies of cluster bombs to Ukraine.

Cluster bombs are shells that have hundreds of smaller bombs inside. Often these bombs are duds and do not detonate properly. In that case, the hundreds of bomblets are left lying on the ground. Such unexploded ordnance has killed and maimed children all over the world who play with the small bombs.

An international treaty signed by hundreds of nations including U.S. allies and NATO members bans the use or production of cluster bombs. The U.S. has not signed the treaty and is now supplying cluster bombs to kill children in the months and years to come.

This shows how weak and ruthless the U.S. really is. Biden should be ashamed of provoking the war and supplying the cluster bombs. Instead, he’s gloating over it. That’s the condition of U.S. leadership today.
