It Wasn’t Just Social Media Rigging The 2020 Election. It Was The FBI.

There are times when the news isn’t exactly news, but it’s shocking nonetheless. This story is an example of that.

The story describes how Twitter employees, especially top management, worked in 2020 to rig the election.

It has many facets. Probably the single most important aspect was the cover-up of the blockbuster story of how Hunter Biden and his father Joe Biden worked together to peddle influence on U.S. policy in exchange for cash from China, Ukraine and other countries.

The New York Post got the story from Hunter Biden’s laptop computer that was carelessly left at a computer repair shop and never picked up. The New York Post worked diligently to verify that the computer was indeed Hunter Biden’s and that the contents were real and not invented.

They broke the story about 20 days before the 2020 election. Then, Big Tech and other publications worked frantically to bury the story. The Post’s own reporting was kicked off of Twitter and Facebook and other platforms. Anyone retweeting the original story was also blocked. References to the story were blocked and users doing second-hand reporting were blocked.

The censorship worked. Polls taken after the election showed that about 80% of Americans had never heard of the story and close to 20% of those would have switched their votes from Biden to Trump if they had known. That’s enough to swing the election in favor of Trump.

The cover-up was outright election rigging as opposed to the story of election rigging by Russians in 2016, which was pure invention by Hillary Clinton, except for some harmless trolls.

We knew all of this. Here’s what we didn’t know until Elon Musk released the Twitter files last week: The FBI was in on the cover-up.

The FBI was meeting regularly with Twitter officials to warn of “hacked material” coming from Hunter Biden that was “Russian disinformation.” The FBI also had the laptop, knew what was in it, and knew it was real.

The fact that the FBI was involved in rigging the 2020 election along with Twitter should send a chill down every American’s spine. The FBI should be dismantled from top to bottom and a new investigative agency created with strong safeguards against election interference. Anything less means the end of American democracy.
